https://api.stophy.dev/mcp-oauth is a server URL for your MCP client, not a page to open in a browser. Your client starts the sign-in.

What happens

  1. Your client opens stophy.dev in your browser.
  2. You sign in, or sign up. New accounts start with free credits to try every endpoint.
  3. Stophy shows which app is asking and where it will send you back. Approve it only if you started the connection yourself.
  4. Your client connects. Calls use your credits, like calls with an API key.
Your client stays connected until you sign out of stophy.dev. Signing out disconnects the app, and it asks you to sign in again next time.

Check the connection

Open your client’s MCP status or tool list and check that stophy is connected with three tools: stophy_search_endpoints, stophy_describe_endpoint and stophy_call. Then ask your agent something like:

Prefer an API key?

Put a key in your client config instead. No browser needed.
